Working with us

From your first enquiry to an agreed delivery plan.

Clear technical scope and commercial responsibility make an engagement easier to manage. This page explains the discussions, inputs and decisions needed before Hykmann begins delivery.

THE ENGAGEMENT PROCESS

Five steps, with decisions made visible.

The depth of each step depends on whether you are engaging a specialist or commissioning a technical work package.

  1. 01

    Understand the requirement

Discuss the business objective, technical environment, current pain points and responsible stakeholders. Agree which problem the first engagement should address.

  2. 02

    Define scope and ownership

Write down deliverables, inputs, exclusions, acceptance criteria, delivery locations and the division of responsibilities. Identify access and commercial dependencies.

  3. 03

    Mobilise the engagement

Confirm the technical team, customer contacts, repositories, licenses and working practices. Resolve onboarding requirements before technical delivery begins.

  4. 04

    Deliver and review

Work through the agreed plan with technical reviews, visible progress and documented issues. Route scope changes through the agreed decision process.

  5. 05

    Validate and hand over

Review the work against acceptance criteria, provide source assets and operating instructions, and agree any follow-on support or next work package.

COMMERCIAL DISCUSSIONS

What the proposal should make clear.

01

Contracting and delivery entities

Identify which Hykmann entity contracts the work, where delivery takes place and whether the Indian entity or another agreed party supports the engagement.

02

Scope and customer inputs

Define deliverables, exclusions, technical dependencies, required access, licenses and customer review responsibilities.

03

Pricing and payment

Agree the pricing model, billing basis, payment terms, milestones and treatment of expenses. Fees are proposed for the actual requirement.

04

Availability and timing

Confirm resource availability, onboarding needs, start conditions and a realistic delivery schedule. Resolve customer dependencies before fixing milestones.

05

IP and confidentiality

Record ownership and permitted use of delivered assets, pre-existing materials, licensed components and confidential information.

06

Changes, acceptance and support

Agree who approves changes, how work is accepted and what happens after handover. Support windows and service commitments are explicit contract items.

PREPARE YOUR BRIEF

A short technical brief is enough to begin.

You do not need a complete specification for an initial conversation. Describe what you know and highlight what still needs to be defined.

  • 01Product, system or process involved
  • 02Current problem and desired outcome
  • 03Relevant tools, hardware and interfaces
  • 04Expected timing and location
  • 05Technical owner and review process

DEFINE THE NEXT STEP
